ISPE Student Chapter

Assalamualaikum wr. wb. Alhamdulillah, with His blessings, we had organised the first meeting at the Kulliyyah of Pharmacy to form the ISPE Student Chapter on the 26th of December 2012. Despite the hectic schedule for our postgraduates and what with our undergraduates studying for the final exam, we had a reasonably good participation. THIRTY came!!! Madam Siti Halimah Bux was kind enough to grace the event. Her presence then and in future is instrumental. ISPE Malaysia inauguration & membership

Dear fellow ISPE members and colleagues,

We are excited to announce the formation of the ISPE Malaysia affiliate after months of planning and hard work. The inauguration of the ISPE Malaysia Affiliate is set to take place at the KL Convention Centre on the 23rd of November 2011 and will mark a significant milestone in Malaysia’s push to become the regional biomedical manufacturing hub of choice.

As the healthcare manufacturing sector in Malaysia prepares itself for unprecedented growth the demand for local industry professionals with relevant knowledge and experience has never been greater. The ISPE Malaysia Affiliate will play an active role in promoting learning, networking and communication throughout the local and regional biomedical community. This will be achieved through the support of tertiary education initiatives and by offering affordable courses, seminars and events that are highly relevant to the industry’s activities in this region.

The ISPE Malaysia Affiliate’s Inauguration Meeting will run from 8:30am to 12:30pm and is open to all ISPE members. The event will include the first Annual General Meeting for the Affiliate and members will have an opportunity to cast their vote for the Executive Committee office bearers.

Alternatively visit us at the BioMalaysia 2011 and look for the ISPE desk on Level 3 or at the Exhibition Hall. ISPE Volunteers will also be available at the BioMalaysia 2011 Exhibition Hall to assist you.
